You can be a part of ARC History..........

 

Remember your experiences as a contestant in the ARC Air Derby? Most say they are experiences of a lifetime. Those remembrances that you want preserved for the next generation of contestants should be kept safe.  They can be displayed and used to share the experience.  Here's what Air Race Classic is doing to make this possible.

 

Air Race Classic, Inc. has teamed up with Texas Woman's University (TWU) to establish archives for official and personal records and memorabilia.  Texas Woman's University is known for their Woman's Collection, especially those that relate to aviation.  The vast WASP collection and the newer Whirly Girls collection are among those archives. TWU is known for its use of archives for displays.  ARC is a participant in making history come to life through its archives.

 

The archives already include extensive history on the ARC traditional race, starting in 1977. We are collecting history for our newest event, the ARC Air Derby, starting in 2021. You can help extend those archives by sending material from your ARC Air Derby participation.
